March is here and it is not any warmer. In fact, today a polo neck jumper, coat and gloves were still not enough to keep out the bitter cold. New label, Edition Scotland, which launched in October 2013 specialise in creating signature cashmere accessories for men and their scarves in particular, are an absolute necessity in this UK weather.
The collections are knitted and hand finished to the highest standard by a team in the Scottish borders using the finest Scottish spun cashmere, from Todd & Duncan.
For the debut collection, traditional houndstooth, herringbone and birdseye patterns have been translated into intarsia knits with a unique design. The result is luxury, investment pieces that can be worn again and again. Edition Scotland has created a collection of timeless pieces with a focus on quality and craftsmanship.
Each style is limited edition and only small runs of each colorway are produced. Here are a few of my favorites from the current range:
