Oscars week means that there is any number of Hollywood actors that dressed in such a way to grant them the prestigious honour of best dressed of the week on The Rakish Gent.
This week's gent, has already been named on this site before. Standing out on a sea of black tuxedos and bow ties, Mr Jared Leto can be the only real choice for me. His look is completely his own - undeniably stylish, on trend and suitable for the occasion, he also manages to look himself and let his personal style shine through.
Winner of the award for Best Supporting Actor for the movie, The Dallas Buyers Club, Mr Leto wore Hedi Slimane at Saint Laurent. The entire look was custom made, naturally given the gravitas of the occasion. I love the contrasts evident in this look - a super lux ivory tuxedo jacket with slim black trousers ans smart shoes, worn with a red silk bow tie and pocket square, crisp white shirt with diamond detail buttons and his trademark unwashed hair. It was an amazing choice and one that ends his awesome season of red carpet dressing.
