Over the last few months, The Rakish Gent has featured some great work from a range of very talented illustrators. I am sure that you will agree that the above, by Bonnie Chen is one of the best so far. Bonnie is a woman of many talents - designer by day and illustrator by night, always searching for the perfect intersection of creative art and design. The aspiring Creative Director used watercolour to create the above illustration.
The look that Bonnie has so beautifully created has been styled by me and is classic pieces that come together for a great Summer city look. South Korean label, Wooyoungmi has developed a reputation for wardrobe staples with a twist and I have lusted over this navy, green and white striped sweater (available at Harvey Nichols) for months. It looks great when worn with tailored trousers, like these from Kenzo. Any self respecting man will note that accessories are everything and there aren't many better than these suede and leather patent leather trainers from Lanvin, and the full grain leather iPad mini cover, by Valextra at Mr Porter.
